Thanksgiving Cards
I was busy today making these Thanksgiving cards for a swap on The Crafty Table message board. This first one is made from a page sketch by pagemaps.com. I'm entering it into their contest as well. This second one is from a sketch on the Taylored Expressions Blog. It's also for a challenge that Stacey posted for the online crop over at All Moments Remembered. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Finally Fall Colors!
Fall has finally come to our home! Along with the fall colors, came a strange man in a purple duct tape jacket. This is really Todd's cousin, Stevie. He came over to work on some Physics homework with Todd and also to play Rock Band. His girlfriend, Jessica is in the background. If you have enjoyed these photos and want to see more, just go here and enjoy!

My Cosmos Flowers
I planed a Cosmos plant from seeds earlier in the summer. I thought it was too late to plant the free packet of Cosmos seeds I received in the mail, but I tried anyway. Well, here it is, October, and they bloomed! I posted some more pictures HERE.

Layouts from the AMR Online Crop
Saturday, April 5, 2008, I participated in an online Crop at All Moments Remembered. It was a lot of fun and it inspired me to create the following layouts. This first challenge was to create a layout using embellishments around the photo: This first layout is of my cousin Jilly. The photo was taken on Thanksgiving 2004. She looked so cute in her cowgirl hat, I just couldn't resist. I've also had the paper hanging around for quite some time, just waiting for this photo to be glued to it.This second challenge was to use Bling and a Spring Theme: For this layout, I used iris photos that were taken the spring after we moved here. I had no idea that these irises were underground waiting to bloom. Boy was I happy! I have a brown thumb and can't get anything to grow. These came up like magic. Flower photography is my favorite. This third challenge was to use a clear transparency: I had this photo of my Daddy and me when I was a little girl. It was taken in the spring of 1969, I think. The transparency came in a mystery pack I purchased from Rocky Mountain Hobbies. I thought the two went together quite well.I hope you enjoy my layouts and thank you for looking.
