The Big City Bear Co. bears are delighted that you've stopped by for a visit! They are a friendly lot of bears...and exceedingly polite.Big City Bear Co. (BCBC) bears are indeed from the big city--Detroit, Michigan, USA, to be exact. Each BCBC bear takes its name from a street in Detroit, and the bears will be glad to tell you a little about the history of his or her street.Big City Bear Co. bears are made with great care by Amy Lobsiger. The bears DEMAND (very politely, of course) quality materials--including imported mohair, taxidermy-quality glass eyes, wool felt, Ultrasuede, poly pellets and Airtex Premium stuffing. All bears are fully jointed with cotter pins and hardboard joints. Some of the bears have wobble-joints which makes them delightfully poseable and full of expression. Because of some of the materials that are used in the bears, please realizethat the bears are NOT CHILD-SAFE; they are for collectors.
